He had so much potential in the games and yet I felt that his character was kind of pointless when I thought he was going to be something more. I’ve not seen all the episodes of the anime with him yet, but he is definitely more developed and interesting there than he was in B2W2. I really hope they can get more creative with the anime plot!

Random Manga News: Magma Admin Hokage localized in US as “Blaise”

Don’t usually post manga stuff, but I make an exception for interesting villain news, and I thought some of y’all might care to learn that the Magma admin Hokage in Pokémon Adventures has been localized as Blaise for the US market. Volume 16, where he first appears, was released in America yesterday, and my copy just came in the mail. Crappy webcam pic:

Previously he had been localized into English as Mack by the Singaporean publisher Chuang Yi, and as Hank by fan translator Coronis. Now you have one more thing to call him.

I’m really surprised by this, actually, because VIZ kept Aqua Admin Shizuku’s Chuang Yi name of “Amber” even though it’s hilariously inappropriate for a dude. But now Mack—er, Blaise—gets a different name, because of…reasons? Curveballs, curveballs everywhere! (But hey, at least the pun is good.)

Wow….that’s……….um, interesting……

I guess this means I’m going to have to re-tag everything……welp, this girl is on a tumblr mission! Just gonna stick with Mack and Blaise to make things easier.

Went to a German restaurant for my brother’s graduation, and it was amazing. The waiter looked like Team Rocket’s Petrel, the guy at the table next to us looked like Jeff Foxworthy, a guy sitting outside looked like the owner of Bernina, and the owner’s wife looked like my old Latin teacher from highschool.

I have never seen so many look-alikes in one place like that while it wasn’t on purpose.

Funny you should say that, because my best friend goes to this restaurant where one of the waiters look like Petrel too! I haven’t seen him but I’ve been told he’s got the goatee and everything XD
